Hall and Oates	One on One		The hit maker duo of the early 80s Hall and Oats released the seductive ballad "One on One" on the album H2O in 1982. The song became no.7 hit a year later.

Hammerfall	Glory to the Brave		The Swedish metal band, Hammerfall, first made their international fame with 1997's debut album "Glory to the Brave". The album was a classic Eurometal recordings with many passionate songs, including this title closing-album ballad.
	Always Will Be		Hammerfall tried to look for their new metal sound in the 2000 album, Renegade. However, many of the songs still based on their power metal background including the acoustic ballad "Always Will Be".
	Remember Yesterday		Finally, Hammerfall released their successful power metal album, Legacy of Kings in 1998. With double bass driven, this dungeon and dragon band composed one of the great pure metal ballad "Remember Yesterday"

Hardline	Face The Night		Hardline was a short-live heavy metal band during 1990s by the ex-Journey (Neal Schon) and ex-Bad English (Deen Castronovo). But in 2002, they released their second album, II, which contained the ballad "Face The Night".

Heart	These Dreams		The hard rock sisters of the 70s, Heart, released the huge comeback album in 1985. Power by the no.1 power ballad "These Dreams", along with few other hits, the album went top of the chart.
	Alone		Heart followed their success of their 1985 album with Bad Animals in 1987. The album features another no.1 hit ballad "Alone".

Heathen	In Memory of …		The 80s San Fransico thrash band Heathen finally reunited and released the new album in 2004. The band still sounded like 80s thrash and heavy metal, including the ballad about lost friends "In Memory of …".

Helloween	A Tale That Was't Right		Helloween, influenced by Priest and Maiden, did what they do best in composing the blistering yet melodic heavy metal with gothic orientation. In this 1987 album, Keeper of the Seven Keys, Pt 1, they released their slick and powerful ballad "A Tale That Was't Right."
	In the Middle of a Heartbeat		After the failure of their two albums in the early 1990s, Helloween tried to recover their popularity with 1994's Master of the Rings. The album contained many good metal songs, including the melodic ballad "In the Middle of a Heartbeat".
	If I Knew		Helloween decided to go back to their old style with 1996's The Time of the Oath. The records were purely the well-known Helloween style, including the power ballad "If I Knew".
	Forever and One (Neverland)		"Forever and One (Neverland)" was another ballad from Helloween's reviving album, The time of the Oath.
	Don't Stop Being Crazy		"Don't Stop Being Crazy" was the power ballad from Helloween's 2003 album, Rabbit Don’t Come Easy. This ballad was among the highlight of the album.

Heroes Del Silencio	La Alacena		This is a latin rock band formed in Spain during the mid 80s. They were a successful band in their country with several hit albums. "La Alacena" was a melodic and moanful ballad presented in the 1993's album El Espiritu del Vino.

Hinder	Lips of An Angel		Hinder was a post-grunge band from Oklahoma. They released their first debut album Extream Behavior in 2005. The songs turned out to be more rock than their previous post-grunge LPs, among them was the hair metal style ballad "Lips of An Angel".

Honeymoon Suite	What Does It Take		The Canadian pop-rock Honeymoon Suite top their native chart in 1986 with the beautiful ballad "What Does It Take". But the next album did not make a sale and the group never release any album again.

Hoobastank	The Reason		In 2003, Hoobastank created one of the most powerful ballads in the 21st century "The Reason" The song hit no.2 on The Billboard Hot 100 and became one of the most played on radio during the year and following year.

House Of Lords	Can't Find My Way Home		With their appearance like Whitesnake and Blue Murder, House Of Lords quitely shared their success with this Sahara album. The album features their hit "Can't Find My Way Home" in 1990.
